Margaret Parker "Marge" Grigsby, born February 11, 1921 youngest of 7 children (all deceased), died Thursday, November 24, 2016. She is survived by her son William H. Grigsby, II (JoAnn) of Warner Robins GA, nephew Mack Parker (Julia) of Chattanooga, and several more nephews, great nieces and nephews. Her spouse of 70 years, William A. Grigsby, predeceased her in 2011. They both enjoyed traveling to Knoxville every fall in support of their beloved Volunteers. She was a lifelong Christian and member of Ridgeview Baptist Church for over 60 years, where she taught the Ruth Sunday...

Margaret Parker "Marge" Grigsby, born February 11, 1921 youngest of 7 children (all deceased), died Thursday, November 24, 2016. She is survived by her son William H. Grigsby, II (JoAnn) of Warner Robins GA, nephew Mack Parker (Julia) of Chattanooga, and several more nephews, great nieces and nephews. Her spouse of 70 years, William A. Grigsby, predeceased her in 2011. They both enjoyed traveling to Knoxville every fall in support of their beloved Volunteers. She was a lifelong Christian and member of Ridgeview Baptist Church for over 60 years, where she taught the Ruth Sunday School class. She will forever be remembered by her countless friends, including the people she worked with at Memorial Hospital, where she volunteered for 30 years. Visitation is Monday, November 28, 2016 from 4-6 pm at the Chattanooga Funeral Home; her funeral service will be at 10:30 am, Tuesday, November 29, 2016, also at the funeral home, with burial to follow at the Chattanooga National Cemetery, alongside her WWII and Korean War veteran husband.
