Connie Sue Maxwell, born October 3, 1955 in Chattanooga, TN joined her loved ones in Heaven on Saturday, August 5, 2017.
She was a registered nurse graduating from Baroness Erlanger School of Nursing in 1976. She became a Certified Massage Therapist in 1991 and was especially honored to become a team masseuse for the University of Tennessee Champion Lady Vols basketball program in 1995. Connie Sue Maxwell, born October 3, 1955 in Chattanooga, TN joined her loved ones in Heaven on Saturday, August 5, 2017.
She was a registered nurse graduating from Baroness Erlanger School of Nursing in 1976. She became a Certified Massage Therapist in 1991 and was especially honored to become a team masseuse for the University of Tennessee Champion Lady Vols basketball program in 1995. She served in that capacity for many years and enjoyed every minute of it. Connie thoroughly enjoyed a rewarding softball, basketball and volleyball career growing up in East Ridge and was a member of the senior volleyball team the Loco Chicks.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Claude E., Jr. and Jettie Sue Brown Maxwell and her brother, Gary C. Maxwell, Sr.
Survivors are her nephew, G.C. Maxwell, Jr.; niece, Kassie Davis; Godchildren, Holly Collett, Phillip Sloan, Alex Utsey, and Trey Pilkington and many cousins and friends.
A graveside Celebration of Life service will be held at 11 AM Monday, August 14, 2017 at Chattanooga Memorial Park. Proverbs 27:17. Hootie Hoo!x2!
Pallbearers will be G.C. Maxwell, Jr., Jenny Moshak, Ashley Sherman, Ryan Sherman, Suann Fulton, Gerg Fulton, Steve Brock and Mark Shields. Honorary pallbearers will be the twins, Carol and Di, Debby Jennings, present team and all former Tennessee Lady Vol players and managers since 1995.
Connie would like to thank any coach, teacher, teammate, opponent and fan for all the support, fun and good times.
